Dear Jim, Mary, and Crew,
We are so pleased with all the work you have done on our old Florida Cracker house on Lake Reedy! From the large basics like rebuilding the porch to the small details like cutting the baseboards to match the originals, we love it all. The transformation from "sow's ear to silk purse" is wonderful. We are confident that there isn't much more we can do. It is what it is.
We enjoyed having each and every crew member working around and in our cottage. Everyone worked hard, was polite, responsible and very, very neat. Perhaps Jim could train husbands? Seriously, the workmanship of the changes made is much appreciated. The attention to detail, the water heater enclosure and cabinet matching quarter-round, for instance, had made the renovation even better than our expectations. I've enjoyed the vented fan in the kitchen and thank Jim for his persuasion in including it . Throughout each phase, work was completed as expected within the time frame anticipated.
I greatly appreciate the completion of almost everything in time for the Labor Day weekend. We had about 20 of Jon's family with us for the rainy, windy weekend. We spent more time inside than I had anticipated. To have both porches completed was so helpful. Those who had been with us before were most impressed with the changes.
Jim and Mary, you know this cottage as well or better than we do. For the first time, we are making plans to share it with our friends. If you ever need a place to "stash" visiting relatives of whomever, we hope you will consider this little Florida Cracker house. We will certainly be happy to make it available to you.
